A background in management and science the main focus with Mende Biotech Limited is the commercialization of new natural actives from New Zealand’s unique ecological resources. This requires a great understanding from the raw plant, extraction process, compound analysis, registration, application to the markets and supply; even though this is very demanding it is something I seem to be good at.
An active naturalist and conservationist for many years it is extremely important that with the wealth of potential in New Zealand’s plants; trees and marine resources everything remains sustainable with good management and renewal practices. My main objective in the future is to set up more research and development programs for the development of New Zealand’s plants for medicines and oils. This will help promote better land and forest management and planting of our native plants.

Reinhard Hueber:
A Director and shareholder of Mende Biotech Ltd and is also liaised through his company Essentially New Zealand Ltd, which is responsible for the international marketing of substances developed and produced by Mende Biotech Ltd. His main role within Mende Biotech Ltd is presently finance and the international registration of materials manufactured by the company.

Reinhard´s experience in international marketing comes from his involvement in Rest International Ltd, a New Zealand based inbound tour company he started in 1987. Countless trips to overseas markets and his presence at many international trade fairs have made him a very experienced and seasoned representative of New Zealand.
